Several individuals have organized the Association with a sincere interest in the encouragement, promotion and support for the profession of emergency vehicle technicians through networking, training and educational seminars.

Certification of technicians and input into the development of various standards and rules relating to emergency standards and rules relating to emergency vehicle maintenance and operation are of utmost importance.

The annual meeting of the Association will be held in conjunction with the Annual Training Seminar.

Periodically the Association will supply to its members product information releases and new techniques from various vendors and manufacturers of emergency service vehicles, as it becomes available. The Association also plans to hold training sessions and seminars from various manufacturers that provide products to OEM.

A periodic newsletter is being published by the Association.
